OCPE is my first commercial software product.
It emulates network and RDM devices by injecting ethernet packets onto a network with faked MAC addresses so that any software looking at the network would believe that these devices actually exist.
This product is aimed at product developers and R&D engineers in the entertainment lighting sector, but it also has application for teaching and product demonstration.
I launched the second version of OCPE at the London PLASA Show in 2023 where it received commendations from the judges of the PLASA innovation awards.
Version 2 includes the first commercial implementation of RDMNet gateways.
I took OCPE to PLASA PlugFest 2024 where I presented the software to industry leaders.
